Introduction
Games are a wonderful way of letting pupils participate in a group, to have fun, respond to instructions and to take turns.
There are many wonderful games available commercially to buy. Most are quite expensive at around about £10. Sometimes the games are far too complicated to play. Games for All aims to adapt well-known games using PCS (Picture Communication Symbols) and pictures from the internet, to make simple, fun and motivating games. Well-known and loved children’s books including ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch’ and ‘Elmer’ have been adapted into simple board games that everyone can play.
CALL has tried to develop games that can all be played on the same board with just the counters or cards changing for the different games
.
