CPD Providers
We're a registered provider of CPD (CPDfind) for all staff working within Curriculum for Excellence or with pupils with Additional Support Needs.
We run:
- Training courses;
- INSET training;
- Free webinars;
- Events such as ICT and Inclusion.
Courses pay due attention to recent legislation on Additional Support for Learning and Accessibility.

Training courses at our centre
Courses take place at our training centre within the University of Edinburgh.
All courses held at CALL are open to all professionals working with people with additional support needs as well as parents and family members.
In service training
CALL also offers outreach in service training in your school or local authority, on a range of topics customised to your specific requirements.
CALL can provide laptops or will use the school/authority equipment.
Free webinars
A series of short online workshops (also know as webinars) with a focus on promoting inclusion in your organisation.
Sessions consist of a short video introduction followed by a 'how to' workshop using web conferencing.
ICT and Inclusion 2013
Free exhibition of technology to assist students with Additional Support Needs.
More than 20 of the UK's leading suppliers of software and assistive technology will be exhibiting and giving short presentations on their latest products.
