From 11th September 2011 the Equality Act will introduce new duties on authorities, services, independent and grant-aided schools to provide auxiliary aids and make information available in accessible formats.

Psychologist and Visual Impairment Specialist

Member of CALL assessment support team with expertise in visual impairment, assessment, deafblindness, complex support needs and other areas. Delivers CPD and training in Books for All / accessible formats; digital exams, consulting with children and young people and others.

Has authored or co-authored a number of books, research articles and practical guidance including Vision for Doing, Listening to children with communication support needs (with Sally Millar), and Books for All with Paul Nisbet.
