Text Readers for reading from Word, web etc

• Text Readers are designed for reading text

• Do not confuse with Screen Readers (e.g. Jaws) designed for visually impaired pupils

• Open and read files in different formats

• Highlight text within a document and read it

• Some text readers highlight the text in the document itself

• In others you must highlight and copy the text and it appears in a separate window
