Simple Scan Movement

Simple Scan, sometimes called linear scan or tracking, is the most straight- forward of all the scan movements.

Each item in the selection set is highlighted in turn. When the desired item is reached, the user selects it with a switch press or release depending on the selection method used. The items are usually arranged in a clear visual order on the screen, for example, a single row with items scanned from left to right.
